Hi there, I'm Shannon Walker
I'm a self-taught, constantly learning, front end developer. She/her.
I'm currently living in Nottingham, UK with my partner and our dog.
Born and raised in South Africa, I fell in to development as a career quite by accident.
After finishing high school, I took a job at a web development agency for what was originally supposed to be my "gap year" and ended up being four.
I've since worked in various in-house teams and enjoy working with CSS, animations, UX and accessibility.
In 2016 I moved to the UK with my partner and have lived here ever since. In my non-dev time, I enjoy hiking, reading and photography. I've also recently discovered a love for gardening and am slowly getting better at not killing my plants.
